Starting another project (a quickie this time - just a bathroom floor) so of course my mind turns to JB & Co. I thought I'd stop in and tell you all how much I miss you guys. It's still been crazy - my sister is gone nearly a year, my dad 2 1/2. My "baby" (son, 23 yrs old) got married Dec 23, and I'm up to 4 grandbabies (all under 3 yrs old) - 3 grandsons and one granddaughter. Two of my 3 Ds and 3 SILs are still active duty (1 finished her time), so we still travel a lot for promotions, graduations, homecomings, and holidays. My middle D and her husband both deploy next month, at which time I will have 2 grandsons living with me for a while rather than one (2 1/2, second one is 9 mos old).
Truth is I've been gone so long I probably don't "know" too many "regulars", but I'm sure I miss the time I spent here on a reqular basis. I hope all is well with you, or at least as well as it can be. I'm not even going to claim to be back soon (as a regular), because as soon as I finish this quick job, we are tearing out a kitchen AND bathroom and then replacing the carpeting with a laminate floor (? not definite on what yet) in a condo, so I'll be fitting that in between tax returns already. I'll probably be stopping by for advice, though. :)
