I'm trying to find a start motor capacitor for a MK Saw 100. The online owners manual says it is a 270-324mf w/ Qd terminals #158242. Do you think this capictor would work in its place... http://www.weisd.com/store2/NTEMSC125V270.html
I'm confused about the 125VAC?
Thanks
Hi K,
The voltage is a range 110-125 so it's fine voltage wise. (the MSC125V270 is the 270-324 microfarad one at 110/125 vac)
Be sure to check the body dimensions to verify it will fit underneth the cover. The PDF spec sheet has more info re: size <EDIT> oops, pg. 3 that is </EDIT>
I prefer to buy caps at a wholesale house so I can hold the old one next to it and make sure it will work. (Johnstone supply around here) I realize in some areas this luxury isn't an option, so on-line may be the only alternative.
hope this helps,
Mark
