Travertine Cleaning

How does one clean pencil marks that the installers missed from travertine that has already been sealed.

I am currently working on resolving the same problem in my two new (and sealed) travertine installations. Ugh! Believe it or not, I am using an eraser. With enough elbow grease, I have been very successful, and have avoided using sand paper and other more drastic routes mentioned in other threads.

Acetone for sealant removal followed up with a white rubber eraser.
