Grout Came Too Light - Can I Darken It?

My floor grout looked great wet but dried white. It's sanded grout. How can I make it darker?

Hey Laurieann,

They have grout stains and paints that can be used. Where you bought your grout would be a good place to find them. I think HD and Lowes carry them also.

Also, have you cleaned it good, it may have some loose powder, or efflorescence on it?

Should I use a solution of water and vinegar to clean my grout? How will that make my grout color darker?

It's not gonna make the color darker, just gonna remove any light colored residue,if it's still light i'll refer you to Danny's post. :tup2:
