tile / grout cleaning question

I am new to the board. I just installed some porcelanosa tile in my master bath on the walls and floors. We grouted gradually as the project progressed without completely cleaning. Today my wife purchased a product at HD in an attempt to further clean the remaining grout. The product is called Aqua Mix Grout Deep Clean. After application, the tile appears to have lost it's sheen and I am not sure if we damaged the original gloss finish. Can you please provide a recommendation on the next steps to take in order to restore and protect the original finish. Thanks much, Bill

Hi Bill, Welcome! :)

The product you used is a high alkaline product, and should not harm the tile. It may need furthur rinsing. Have you tried buffing the surface of the tile with a clean towel?

It's also possible that there is still a grout film on top of the tile.

I called Porcelanosa, the company where I purchased the tile, and they recommed that I clean with Star Clean by Jamo. I am sure some grout film is still present, and according to Porcelanosa the Star Clean should help clean the remaining grout, do you agree?? I will try this tomorrow, hopefully it will come clean, thanks for any further input, bill
