hi guys,

I'm going to order Impregnator Pro sealer some time this week. I will use it to seal my grout on the shower walls. I have a bottle with a roller at the end which applies the liquid. Is that ok to use with the shower wall? Are there other more time proven ways of sealing grout?

Thanks!

Neil

Hi Neil,

Is this for the grout only?

I will also use the Impregnator Pro for sealing the marble shelves on the niche. I'm sure that I will have extra, I will apply the sealer in my marble foyer too.

Hi Neil :)

You could try the bottle with the roller. If that doesn't work, use either the foam pad on a stick, or a disposable brush. Make sure to buff off the over application with a clean white towel or rags. The Scott's paper towels work very good. They are durable and very absorbant.

Thanks John!

EDIT: I forgot to ask how I seal the marble tile. Do we just pour the sealer on top of the tile and let it dry?

Hi Neil :)

Well, you have half of it. You can pour it on, but you can't let it just sit there indefinitely till it dries. You'll have to spread it around with a rag or a brush, let sit for a few minutes, then wipe the remaining product off with dry towels. Last, buff dry, making sure there is no product left on the surface.

If it is polished marble, you may not need to seal with anything, as the sealer may not penetrate. It's always good for the grout though.
