Hi my name is Fran. We just had ceramic tile put down in our Bathrooms and in the processing of putting ceramic tile in the kitchen. The tile we picked for the guest bathroom is down, but do not look like the tile we picked out.(Although we know it is the same tile) but look very dull. The installer said that he was not going to seal the tile, just the grout. My question is this: Is there a sealant that he can put on the tile to give it more of a satin or shiney look? If so, is that practical and would it hurt anything? Thanks

Fran, i wouldn't recommend trying to put a shine on your ceramic,it's a hastle to keep up, and the wear patterns will show shortly..and you'll have other problems on your hands. If he has grouted already, could it be a little grout haze hiding the shine? Or just a shade variation?
