we just layed 1200 sq ft of tumbled ivory travertined on our floors. it is not honed or filled. we need to know what are best options are for a good matte sealer,as we prefer a more rustic look. should we seal, grout, and seal again? there are so many options for sealers we need good professional advise.we would appreciate any or all info you can give us. thanks!

Are you sure it's tumbled but not honed...they usually go together.Let's assume it is honed...you can use Mira Matte,it needs to be applied in two coats,and may wear eventually and needs to be stripped and reapplied...this sealer isn't for polished stones though.

we have installed tumbled, chiseled, ivory ,travertine in our home it is not.. honed or filled.we plan to seal, grout ,and seal ,again.we have alot of very high traffic areas and need to know what will best hold up to the high traffic areas long term? also we need something that will not add shine or change the color in any way. thank you for any or all advise you can give us!

This the travertine you installed over the slab with cracks and some water infiltration? How'd you finally do the installation?
