Happy Thanksgiving home improvement weeken!

I am using HMK products. I am ready to grout my slate shower floor. My question is about timing I think.

After I grout, when can I use the R55 cleaner/grout release solution after I grout? Is there a period of time I have to wait? 24 hours so the grout is somewhat set but can still be cleaned off a bit?

And I assume, I can reseal with S34 impregnating sealant once the stone has completely dried?

Thank you,

mr

You would have to go with the recommended drying time on either the grout container or the sealer container...but i gotta think 72 hours is about right...and yes..you seal when it dries completely........this isn't such an issue with most water based sealers.

Davestone,

Yep, I am using Custom Home Building Polyblend and it says to mist grout several times a day for three days then hit with the cleaner. I just wanted to be sure, you never know.

Thank you,
