I know that many of you do other types of flooring besides tile, so I was wonder if any of you do carpet installations as well? The reason I ask is this. I am in need of a carpet cleaner and need some reccomendations. Not only do I need reccomendations for the actual cleaner, but also perhaps some cleaning solvents that are good to use.
Here is the delima. My brother and sister-in-law are going to be staying with us for a week and she is allergic to cats. We have a cat and I was wanting to get the house as clean as I possibly could before there arrival. I am hoping that cleaning the carpets and furniture will help her cope for the week they will be staying with us. I will need a cleaner that is able to do the carpet flooring as well as furniture, this way I wont have to obtain 2 different units.
As far as budget goes, I would like to keep it low. I really dont want to spend over $120 on a cleaner, so this may be pretty hard to come up with something good to purchase. Perhaps rental may be the way to go, but thats why I am bringing this request to the forum, so that perhaps some of you may have some experience with lower end units that may do the job.
