Hi Everyone,
I had such a positive response from this board, re a kerdi issue that i must share this with you. If you are feeling bad healthwise and think you have Lyme Disease or if you were ever diagnosed and treated for Lyme, you still have it.

Antibiotics do nothing. My husband was almost ready to go on disability because of his illnesses when we found a potential cure. Yes, i said the word cure. That is how strongly I feel about it. It will take 18mos to 2 years but it is working. The solution we have found is Samento. Look it up, do your research. My husband is back to work and is "walking on sunshine", as he puts it. I am not going into the details of how many years or how many "doctors" we saw about this, nor the erroneous diagnoses.

Samento saved my husbands life. Of this I am sure. Check it out, it might work for you. Lyd

Hi Lyd, I have a few friends that got it. Those ticks are nasty. Usually we have a problem with them early spring and fall. I ALWAYS do a tick check when I get out of the woods. Hope everything goes well. :)

Seems like my fish and game club here in Maryland has had an epidemic of folks infected with Lyme disease.... its laid a few of my associates pretty low. I'm gonna pass this info along at our annual pic-nic this weekend and see what they may have to say.

On the lighter side... do you know how to recognize deer ticks.... there the ones with the little antlers on em.

Actually, I'm told, there about as big as a period on the written page.... is that true???

LOL Dave,

Don't look to close for those antlers, they've been known to gore folks. :)

We have 'em here. I've been pulling them off the pup, which isn't easy with the black labbie coat. I haven't seen one on me or the wife yet, she does have fleas though . . . <takes blows from over-shoulder-readin' wife> ouch.

Dave, the deer tick is miniscule. Yes, about that size.
Beware, not everyone will get a bullseye ring. I got bit on the back of the knee years ago, and the ring did not radiate. It went AROUND the entire leg.
The ER MD was so shocked, he took pics for the New England Medical Journal.

We have done enormous research on Lyme Disease. It has been around since 1893. Improperly diagnosed, i might add. For further info read Bullseye by Johnathan Edlow. You will be floored. I, myself have had diagnosed Lyme 3 times. I got suckered into getting the Lymerix vaccine which was later proven deadly. Do I live on the edge? You bet!!!

I will reiterate...if anyone has been diagnosed with Lyme, they STILL have it.

Unless you have done the Bowen Lyme Test, got your readings and are undergoing proven treatment that results in the lowering of the numbers...you still have Lyme!!! Lyme Disease mimics the symptoms of 300 dieseases!! I am committed and very passionate about helping people, because my husband is on the road to recovery at this very moment.

Do not fool around with Lyme. It can and will incapacitate you and be very sneaky about it. It can take years to show itself. It is being considered to be akin to Syphilils. It has shown up in bodily fluids and may be considered transferable just like any sexually transmitted disease. This may be why 1 in 6 in this country have Lyme. Do not take a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia to be final. That diagnosis is only a label they slap on people because they cant cure them. Do not be given antidepressants, do not be sent to a shrink.
Do your research and learn from it. Do not dismiss the herbalists either.

Sorry to rattle on, but this disease is rampant and we have found a cure that works for us. Samento is also an anti-inflammatory....fixed my shoulder this weel. Lyd

Glad to see this thread. Our black labbie Shaka had five on her last weekend and Mark, we feel your pain in trying to get them off from the undercoat! We've never seen one on her in 11 years! The big rains here in AZ have brought them out. A trip to the vet and some Frontline will hopefully help.

The link about ticks was great...especially how to remove them and dispelling the wives tales about it. Thanks!
