I have been working on my bathroom install for 41 months and with any luck I should get it finished soon. It is turning out really nice, I ordered a Basco shower enclosure and today the Basco rep came to my house asking permission to take pictures of it for their catalog and flyers. His exact words were "it is the largest, most luxurious, shower I have ever seen". It took me about an hour to finally convince him that I did it myself. I am so excited that it is coming together so well. The guy who installed my granite is trying to talk me into tiling for him full time. I had to respecfully decline.

I want to Thank all of you who helped me along the way, I know I asked some stupid questions but everyone was patient and helped me out. As soon as I get a couple of the finishing touches done I will post some pictures. Thanks Again, I couldn't have done it without John and this site. :yipee:

Okay, I'll try my hands at posting pics, don't laugh now. This picture shows the shower and tub deck, you can see the bay window, the granite slab tub deck runs back into the seat of the bay. You can see one of the 2 sides of the tub deck, I made these by hand, they are both removable to allow access to the pump for the body spa and the pump for the whirlpool tub. I just started installing the hardware, only about half done. In the shower you can see the brass jewels with black onyx stone in the center, there are 27 of these. Each jewel is framed with black galaxy granite then the black galaxy is framed with the Ubatuba. Notice how the tiles in the shower all line up with the point of the granite at the ceiling line, this was very hard to do, basically I started tiling at the ceiling and worked down to the bench. That is a full blown John Bridges dry pack mortar bed on the floor, there are 357 3 X 3 tiles on the floor of the shower. The shower is also a Roman style tub that holds several hundred gallons of water, this is needed to run the body spa.

Don't preview your post, Frank, that makes the pichers go away. Don't know why. DaveM don't know why. Joe don't know why (I don't think). But it does.

I think the file size was too big, I'll try again.

One more, this is the border that I put around the floor, in the center of the border is porcelain with ubatuba dots. Each one of tiles is a seperate tile took weeks to cut and lay. I counted the total number of tile once in the room and it was either 1200 or 1700 total tiles in the room, I can't remember.
