I can't believe I use to make my living roofing. Gooey, sticky on a hot day, hard and scratchy on a cold one.

Did I say that already???

Always afeared of slipping off the roof..... the sudden stop would hurt only half as bad as the skinning a guy would git sliding down the shingles :--).

Last job I did was a church roof in MN so high that every time I grabbed a shingle to tack it on.... the wind would pick up and I swear I was holding a sail. Right neer sailed off that roof more than once so.... I reeetired from that game.

And you talk about yer knee damage..... shingle dust was sumpin else altogether.
Hmmm......

Onliest thing make that a little worse would be doin' a metal roof instead, Eric.

Only two tools needed for roofing: Telephone and utility knife. Call onna phone to git a roofer. Can't get no roofer, cut your wrists and bleed out right there, especially if you're in an air conditioned place. :D

Hey CX, that's the same method you use for getting drywall hung/finished. :D

Yeah, I almost added that in my comments, 'cept I was fixin' to say insulation. Yep, same tools for that, too.

And that ain't true at all, Flatfoot.

I do allll the trim, with alllll the tools, and I like it. :)

Ahhh, kelly... you're a finish man like me... We take all the crooked crap that the framers, roofers, siders, sheetrockers, and spacklers left us, and make it look GOOD.... :)
