Now, this is done, I am Locking this thread as it is not in the spirit in which this forum is intended

I'm fairly new 'round here (only since 2004) but I continue to marvel at the high signal-to-noise ratio in this forum. It is impressive how JB and the crew of Distinguished Moderators he has assembled/attracted keep things on a friendly, reliable and mostly PG-13 level. I've grown significantly in my basic knowledge and (hopefully) professionalism in addition to learning a number of tricks from members that have certainly helped me increase the quality of my installations.

It gets a little trying at times, Art, but we really do strive to keep it civil and friendly, especially in the "shallow end." We want our visitors to feel welcome, leave feeling they've learned something, and send their friends back.

Oh, but I'm afraid I must take issue with your analogy of a high signal to noise ratio - at least in the Mud Box. Sometimes it's really, really tough to determine if there is any signal at all in some of these threads. :shades:
