Never mind, I figured it out, July 1st is the day it stops snowing in Canada. July 2nd is the day it starts again. :D

"Dominion Day was officially renamed "Canada Day" by an Act of Parliament on October 27, 1982. This change reflected the policy of successive governments to downplay Canada's colonial origins."
Guess there's no sense getting back into how the Canucks jumped ship during the American Revolution and caused us to call upon the French to bolster our forces, and all, and etc.
And obviously there's no sense in bringing up the fact that everybody in the English-speaking world abandoned us when it comes to measurments, and all, and etc.
Guess there's no sense in . . . .
Hey Guys, Happy Canada Day! :D
