I have been using a product called Tile Kleen (Tasman Chemicals) to remove the sealer from an old slate floor in my bathroom in preparation to re-seal. I have been following the instructions on the back but have been finding it is only working if I scrub like crazy for hours! I have now done half the floor but am finding that although the colour is coming back into the slate (it was getting very white hence the need to reseal) it is now looking very patchy and the grout has discoloured in a lot of places. I am expecting to need to use the Tile Kleen twice to remove all the sealer but with the effort it's taking I don't think I can do it again! Also, I can't afford to let any more of the grout discolour as already the floor just looks like it's wet. :bang:

Can anyone offer any advice?
Can anyone let me know how I could clean up the grout now?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Emma

That co. has Ripper Stripper, and another organic covering stripper.I believe the product you're using is just a cleaner. If you have the sealer container you can look on the back and see what they recommend to strip with. :)
