I am ready to seal my stone. I got some Aquamix Ultra Seal. We tried it on a scrap of stone. It seals very well but it doesn't 'enhance' the colors much at all. Is there something in their product line that would be a better enhancer? I ask that because I need something tonight. I need to set the toilet now. I have taken my wifes bathroom from her for over a month and although she has supported and helped like a trooper I have received an ultimatum... seal it and set it tonight. If I can make the stone light up like it does when it's wet then seal it I'd be happy.

Get the enhancer. I think the one you have is just an impregnating sealer. The enhancer will do what you need done. :D

Oh - try to keep that wax ring off of the travertine tile - unless you want a nice, expanding oil stain 'round your toilet. :bang:

Oh - and post pictures.

Hi Scott :)

Rush jobs never turn out well. :shake:

Stone Tech's Enhancer Pro may be what you need. It will richen the color without going too deep. Maybe you can leave the sealer off, and enhance up to the toilet. It will be worth the wait!

First things first though. A happy wife is a happy life!

I experimented with the Stone Tech enhancer and the Aquamix 'Enrich n Seal'
Both worked very well in the sealant department, however the Aquamix product was the superior enhancer.

Hi Linlee :)

The AquaMix Enrich 'n Seal definitely darkens the material more. I don't know that I would say it's a "superior" product. ;)

Hi,
Sorry...I didn't mean to say that it was a superior product. However
for my own reasons for wanting an enhancer, I wanted to really darken
my stone. They performed differently.
