Cleaning already sealed slate tile

I have been browsing this forum for a number of months, but this is my first post. The plumbers used a white caulk to seal the shower control and the builder has sealed the slate with a grout stain on the stone. Can I just clean this one area and then reseal? I have attached a picture of my problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Betty

Hopefully the caulk can be cleaned easily. Try using a razor blade held flat against the stone to scrape it off.
