Hello all, great forum i just discovered.
questions, my light beige travertine floor was honed and polished about 2 years ago,(marble life did work) would like to do it again. questions..
1st -have small holes throughout the 350 sq.ft and would like to fill them. I have patience so would like the BEST way to do this.
2nd- my floor is perfectly flat, no lips. would i fill holes before anything is done? (or clean first, HOW?) and what procedure would i use to fill these holes, what tools and how long to dry?
3rd- I am pretty handy ( a skilled trade worker) and would like to hone and polish the floor myself. (been paying a marble life person to refinish for the past 6 years, every 2 years) floor is not that bad. still very shiny in most places.(just some etching and traffic dulling) like i said just want clean and hone. what steps are needed to tackle a job like this and where would i get material and rent machine?
THANKS TO ALL WHO HELP!
