After 6 months use of my new shower, the white grout line (unsanded) on the shower floor turns brownish, Is something in water? I have a whole-house water softener. what is the best way to clean them up?

Another clean up is for all the chrome shower fixtures, they all have stuborn water marks and hard to wipe out, they are ugly. Any suggestion for a product I can use to clean them back to shining? Any product I can use to prevent water marks ectched to them?
Thank you
-Andy

Hi Andy :)

The discoloration you see in the grout joints may be soap scum. A stone & tile specific high alkaline cleaner (such as Stone Tech's KlenzAll) will usually do the trick. Frequent maintenance with a stone & tile specific neutral pH product (such as Stone Tech's All Purpose Tile & Stone Cleaner) will keep the buildup to a minimum.

A squeegee and/or towel after use also work well.
