I have an exterior patio project that is now complete in Southern California. It is all Satillo, they have been sealed .. Now I know i need to put some sort of acrylic or top coat to take the wear and tear over the project. I would like one with a nice shine. What product is recommended?

Hi Jeff :)
What kind of sealer did you apply (please include brand & type)?
Can you post a picture of your project?
I usually don't recommend a topical coating for exterior use, but Prosoco's Gloss 'n Guard may be the ticket.

The sealer I used was Tiel Lab's Penetrating Grout and Tile Sealer

Thanks B - I am in Southern California so we get little rain as well. Funny I already looked at the Aldon site and was considering using their Crystal Glaze product - it appears to be a sealer but a film sealer more than pentrating - ever use that product?

I haven't used that one, I've used Easy Care's Seal & shine, but I've put Lifeguard over all kinds of different sealers and haven't had a problem yet.
I put it on my next door neighbors exterior saltillo 4 months ago and they have hardly scatched it

Like I said my neighbor has it outside should be OK as long as the drainage is good off your patio. Standing water can turn it white but it goes away after it drys out
