My finger has been healing up pretty well. I'm typing today without to much trouble. There is still no feeling on the side but it works at the tip. The wound is healed up. Now skin needs to fill up the valley left by the saw blade. I can almost form a D cord.

Jerry,

You could move over to the baritone uke. Not so long a stretch. Course you don't get any bass tones either. Life's a compromise, I guess. :D

How many times am I gonna be able to use this pic? Gettin' a little frayed (the uke, that is).

Gods,,,
a cockateal (sp)
and a bari uke

some how
some where
there's a rainbow
o'er a mountain fair
that sings your name
and none's to blame
for the fact that I'd
discipline myself
to your highland voice.

Only stringed I still own is an Ovation, Serial no 000099. Gave up my collection of Mosrites. Been so long I'm scared to pick her up. Something tells me there's a comfort lies in the sight of you.

yeah yeah,,, I am the friggin poet y'now??? :)

Go ahead and pick her up, Sonnie. Blow the dust out of her frets, take a couple turns on the G-string and maybe the E, and hold forth, amigo. (Okay, tune both E's.)
