Very nice pass-through Charles. What's the story that goes along with those curved seats in the corners? And are those massive collumns ornamental or load-bearing? I know they are just skirts around a timber core but I'm curious about the design of them. They just seam out-of-place in all that creamy marble.

PS: And can you post a pic of that pictureframe around the control valves, please? It looks like it's got a pencil-liner as a border?

The collums are just ornamental they are hallow inside.The seats were
the designers idea,and its all travertine 18*18 cut to 4*4 on the floor and
6*6 on the splash.79 leneal feet of bullnosing :bang:

Sweet lookin shower! All mud floated, huh? At the end of the shower walls where the stone meets the sheetrock you just bullnosed the last piece and returned at a 90?

What was the benches built out of, block? :)

Yes it is all floated the seats were framed then hot mopped and floated
the end peices were bullnosed then 90 back to the drywall.
John, spent more time tiling than taking pictures just got the digital camera at
cristmas and still trying to figure the dang thing out :bang:

Charlie... i sat home for weeks for that shower. I hope dave paid you right dude.
i think it was 7 weeks total i cleared my schedule. took 2-3 small jobsin the meantime and kept the calendar clear to take
care of ole dave. he gave it to another fella who showed one day an screwed
up the deck on the tub. called me and said the guy didnt show the second
day. at least i know a good tile brother is eating, good to see ya did a nice
job of it :D tis the same shower i couldnt get to because of the muddy
road when i joined this forum :rofl: :yeah:

Jack this shower was curresed or something I had to pull of it for two weeks.
When I was able to get back on it I had every body breathing down my
kneck to get er dun,and Dave took care of me pretty good not what I would
have charged but it was enough.When I started this damn thing Dave tould me that you were doing that shower and the next day he took me up there
wouldnt tell me that it was the one he gave you until a week later.Theve been taking care of me pretty good lately but like you said im watching out for myself cause knobody else will,were all out to make a living I,m just sorry
that this one was takin from you. :crap:

Opie me and Jack do work out of the same tile shop they had origanaly gave it to Jack but he got rained out then they gave it to acouple of hacks whew scratched coated the shower and tiled the tub deck then they never showed up again then they finally gave it to me and I ripped out the tub deck and floated and set the thing. I didnt steal the damn thing the shop didnt tell me that this was the shower they gave jack until I started tiling the walls.
They actually told me jack was going back to his on thursday that week and then gave this one to me on tuesday.Like Jack said were freinds and there
isnt a chance in hell I would screw him like that. :bang: :bang:
