Hi..just finished grouting room using Hydroment Sanded grout..gray color. Everything came out perfect except after drying .. I can see slight shades of lighter and darker grout..any way I can even out the color...I have not sealed it yet..would a sealer even out the color?? Thanks !!! DAVE

Hi Dave :)
Have you tried cleaning an area with vinegar and water (1:1)? :shades:

I don't think that would work, I guess what happend is , he didn't mix the grout good enough, or didn't let it sit and remix like it should be. Then again, maybe I'm wrong
Actually the vinegar can help, especially if the shading is only on the surface. Might have to go full strength if 1 to 1 isn't strong enough. Rinse well. :)

You didnt say how long since you finished grouting , sometimes it could take a week or so for the color to even out. Wait a while if still no luck distilled water and sulfamic acid per insructions.
