Scratches in Ultrastone

We have an Ultrastone (UNR Home Products) kitchen sink with surface scratch-like defects appearing. Would sanding work? If so what grit number should be tried?

Not familiar with UltraStone. I suggest calling the manufacturer.

UltraStone is not real stone, it is plastic. It is an engineered look alike that puts stone in its name to sell itself off as something that it is not. Like John says, I would contact your sink salesperson.
