Stripping sealer??

This question was asked on another BB I frequent ... can anyone help out with this?

"I was asked to look at a travertine floor that was sealed with a resign based product called Sure Seal. The vendor that applied it bought it from a local dealer, High Tech. Coating.

Questions:
1. Can it be stripped from the floor easily?
2. Is it possible to clean it off a painted wall?"

Hi Randy :)

Not familiar with the product. I recommend calling the tech department of the manufacturer. More than likely an Methylene Chloride based product will need to be used.

As far as the 2nd question. Do you mean the sealer is on the painted wall? If that's the case, you might try touch up painting over it. What ever is needed to remove the sealer, will probably damage the paint.
