Yeah, still a pretty good race though. :) My oldest son is on a Hooters cup pit crew, he placed first in a pit crew tire changing contest last year at Daytona.Had his name up on the board and all. He loves it. :)

Just got back from Daytona/Orlando area. Went to the IROC, Truck, Practices, Busch, and the 500. What a weekend! I was rooting for Tony. At least he won the Take 5 Busch race. He even got some dirt track racing in! :D

Caught the race on the Speed channel today.What a finish,I thought Jr was going to pull it off for a second there until i realized he had no help.
I got to say, it was one of the better finishes ive seen in quite some time :)

He is really a good driver, to come back from 34th and stay out of trouble to compete for the checker,against all the others,is really driving! :)

I'll have to give Jeff Gordon credit. He is some driver. I remember when he was driving sprint cars (I think) and ESPN was running Thursday night Thunder or Saturday Night Thunder. I remember Jeff really kicking A-- as a teenager. Beat a lot of the older guys on a regular basis. I always thought he would go Indy cars, but he chose NASCAR. Bet there's a lot of NASCAR regulars wish he had gone Indy. :bang:

Yep,Gordon certainly has shown he's got what it takes.
3 Daytona Wins and he's a fairly young guy yet.He is certainly in a very elite group of multiple winners of the Big D :)

Hate Him, he may become the official driver of the JB forums what with him driving for Dupont who just bought stone tech and the only sponsor on the circuit i am aware of who is now involved in the tile and stone industry.
