Salt Stains In New Grout Lines

We just installed ceramic tile on a slab cement floor, and we have salt stains in the grout. The house is very near the ocean, and we fear that the ground is saturated with salt water, and it is coming up through the cement and grout. What can be done to clean the grout and keep it from happening again?

Have you attempted a vinegar/water wash yet?

Is it on the entire floor?

Can you post a picture?

I think you are experienceing effervesance, but I doubt it is from the ocean. It is probably the concrete minerals working their way up through the stone. A vinegar wash will probably take care of this and this should stop after the concrete has fully cured out.
