I completed my master bath and custom shower back in December with the help of this great forum. My tile in the shower and on the bathroom floor is porceilain and I sealed the tile and grout with the Stonetech impregnating sealer from the TYW store. The water on the shower floors and walls beads up like water on a car with a good wax job. :)

Simple question. My wife asked me what kind of household cleaners she should be using to clean the tile on a routine basis. Any products we should use or stay away from?

Also any ideas on keeping 3/8" clear glass shower doors clean. The shower door installer recommended Rain-x.

Jeppy-

To best insure a long life for the sealer that you used, I would recommend one of the two daily use cleaners made by StoneTech, and available through the store here. Revitalizer is a daily cleaner with the added benefit of having a bit of sealer built-in, so that every time that you clean, you reinforce the initial seal that you put on (and that water can keep beading up). The other option is StoneTech's All Purpose Stone and Tile Cleaner, a great neutral cleaner but without the benefit of the added sealer.

For the glass door, I just suqeeggee mine every day, but if your contractor recommended Rainx, I might give that a try. If you do start getting mineral deposits/hard water stains on the door, you might try StoneTech's Restore cleaner at a 1:8 dilution to remove those.
