Hi
I was on the job today...inside the home owner had his central sound system locked onto the local radio station...the bricky's out side had their boom-box set on the same channel...no matter where I went in that house...I couldn't get away from that damn rock and roll music!!! Ahhhh!!! I'm old!!!!!!!;)

That's not old, old is when you can't hear the noise. :D

Somebody sound the GEEZ alarm (as in Old Geezer) for Bri! :D Next thing we know, he'll start using phrases like "...those damn kids..." and "...back in my day..."

I've been old for a long time then.

I listen to smooth Jazz almost all the time now.

It makes the M.B.L. go down better;)

Bri,
The older you get, the better your hearing gets. When you are young, you have the radio up loud. You know when you are older - thats when yoy tell the youngsters to tturn "that noise" down.

Are you being called "sir" more often?http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/mica/Cartangry.gif
Is drying your hair taking less time every day?
Is that guy in the mirror starting to resemble your dad?

Darn kids, anyhow...

Dad and I were going though the check out at the local food store, and the cashier (maybe 22 or 23) actually carded my Dad for the beer we were buying. She then entered his birthdate (Dec 4 , 1941) into the keypad. This has no relevance to anything, Bri, except maybe you'll get carded soon buying some booze and feel young again for a minute.

Bri,

I happen to know how old you are, and if I had started talking like you when I was your age, I'd truly be an old fart now.

When I was your age, my wife had just delivered twins. I was not old then. I am not old now.

I don't care what people say. Rock and roll is here to stay. Just keep it down, though. ;)

Hey..as I recall, your lovely wife is more than a few years younger than you. If that doesn't keep you young...nothing will! :)

Patti happens to be 10 years younger than I am. I think that'a a respectable difference. In fact, I consider it a minimum. A woman my age wouldn't be able to put up with me.

Come to think of it, I can't hardly put up with me. :D

John

Prepare to be busted by Paul when he reads your post. :D

Dad...sorry I mean John,
When you and Patti... sorry, I mean Mrs.Bridge were first married did you not find it difficult on your work schedule,
I mean having to wait until the school bus left to start your work day? Or did you have a nanny?

Rubix ... ya ever have an angry Texan at your door? ;)

Carl,

You're just lucky I'm not a real Texan, only a transplant.

Actually, I rescued Patti from spinsterhood. She was 34 when I met up with her, well on her way to old age. ;)

Paul,

I'm capable of fairly good grammar, having been born and raised outside Texas. But a guy wants to belong, you know. :D
