I downloaded 6.0 a few weeks back. Very nice; an easy upgrade. Have you changed your skin at all, JC? I went with minimalist- tiny buttons, more screen space. Used to just have a customized color & background. I love the no popup option, of course, and the fact that a right click on almost anything lets you customize it. How many windows can you open at once? I assume you enabled your mouse? I have the worst time now when I'm on IE...I'll go check out the link.
Sheesh- a coupla beers at the Legion and I'm all chatty...
Cami I just upgraded to 6.01...just came out. Real easy DL and install right over the old one takes a couple minutes and does'nt effect any of your settings.
Have not messed around with the buttons yet I will though. I plan on paying for this program I like it so much(get rid of that banner). Not very many programs are privy to me digging into my wallet these days let me tell you.
heres a direct link.

Do you use the hold left button then click the right button to go back vice versa to go forward trick? It is pretty quick.

Yes- did you set up an "active folder" for your favorite set of sites? I like the one click change to stop loading images. Do you use the F11 key often? Handy feature...
left click on normal texgt word(non-link) and it will give yopu a dictionary option, encyclopedia option,a search option and will even translate to word for you into other languages....finally I will be able to understand some of the things said around here.

Any idea if it makes a difference if you set Opera to be recognized as Mozilla or MSIE?
Not sure, but I do know some web sites actually have differant code for differant browsers so perhaps it will read stuff differantly...good question!

All right, JC, I'm ticked today. I can't access the Prospero forums with Opera- only IE. (All the Taunton forums switched from webx to Prospero today. What a mess...I may have to cut down to this forum only.) :D
Can you see if you can access any of the forums?
Just click on one of the pics (http://www.taunton.com/pages/forums.asp)
OK, never mind...I have to set it to accept cookies from everyone and their brother to get it to work. Grrrrr. You guys might just have to start posting more so you can be my sole source of entertainment. :D
Thanks-

New Opera trick-
If you mess around and screw up the email setting so much that it keeps locking up your computer, you can just delete mail from Opera?
Well, I'm learning html basics; Prospero forums are set up for IE users. Ah well, it's good for me, I suppose... :)
I keep getting these annoying feezes also and I don't even use the mail program. Not sure if it is a motherboard thing or an opera thing..interesting

Freeze free now....at least on my computer. I never used it either, but I messed it up attempting to. Give it a try; it doesn't hurt anything, and it eliminated those 20-60 second freezes that used to occur about 3-4 times an hour.
I'll check into it but I had total lock-ups...had to cold boot the system.
