Hi all,
With the mention of StonExpo on another thread, I was just wondering who might be heading down that way at the end of the month? I'm leaning toward being there and seeing what there is to see. I suppose that means a few adult beverages and some killer shimp that Scooter told me about. You see, he knows this place and,...well, it's a story. :D

I'm going to try and attend the Understanding issues "China" seminar.

P.S. Why not come to the show here in Vegas. Wife won't let ya? I understand.

I will be there Wed – Fri, (Oct. 27-29). In terms of Seminars that might be of general interest in the tile setting trade, take a look at session #’s 11, 20, 30, 42, 50, 65, & 69, a series of stone care, maintenance, and restoration forums presented by StoneTech, AMI, and others. One will even be a joint StoneTech/Aqua Mix/Miracle Sealants/Akemi session. I'm looking forward to that one.


Then Nobel will have one on membranes and waterproofing, #42.

For me personally, I’m in the process of setting up/financing a couple new business, one being a stone profiling fab shop (while at the same time trying to maintain a retired/semi retired profile which will be interesting). With some significant investment decisions in the making, the one session I am particularly interested in and my primary reason for attending the show is session #29, smart buying & investment decisions for setting up a fabricating facility.

If you decide to attend, look for the one-and-only TYW tee-shirt... come up as say howdy.
