Just thought I'd pass this on ...
Antivirus firms F-Secure and Central Command have warned users that the "Klez.e worm", which can delete files, halt security programs and spread itself when an infected e-mail is opened, is set to trigger today (Wednesday 6 March).

We have Norton running full-blast on both machines. I'm even scanning my outgoing email just in case. Had a worm once. Ended up having to completely delete and re-build the system. Cost me all my cookies. ;)

Our setup, Norton, also scans outgoing. No sign of the klez.e here. Thanks Harry
Btw, I don't know if this works but I saw it someplace. Set up a phony email address in your address book. The name you use is 1001 this keeps it at the top of your addresses. Then if your infected your notified by "undelivered mail". But do these virus/worms stop if the first one doesn't go? I'm tired, long week. Did I make any sense?

Won't stop it, it doesn't know it didn't go. You just find out sometime after the fact. Another 'urban legend' really.
I guess it will tell you that you have it, but it will already be too late.

Thought so. Thanks

You will usually know you have it, also, when when email administrators on other sites start telling you to quit sending them email. :D
That's how I found out I had it last time.

You had a virus John? Gee, I thought you were such a nice person. How did you explain it to your family, or did you?
