Hello I just purchased some creme marfil marble tiles and unfortunately I was storing them downstairs and a small flood occured. It really wasn't that big of a flood but it was bad enough to soak the boxes the marble is in alittle bit and at the moment all the water around them is all clean up but the cardboard boxes they are stored in is moist not soaked but moist. I was wondering if I should be worried perhaps the water might discolor that bottom row or something. Please clarify if all is alright or if I should do something about it. Thanks alot. Will

Hi Will :)

The first thing I would do, would be to remove them from the damp cardboard cartons. Some of these have staples, and will rust. I've seen stone damaged by this. I also would lay them out, if possible, to dry. Either in the sun, or in the room off the floor, and have a fan and dehumidifier running. :)
