Stupid Question

Not sure where to post this. Feel free to move. Can you use a dishwasher without the foil insulation around the outside of it? Is that stuff basically used for noise reduction? Thanks.

It's for noise and heat - helps keeps both inside.

I suppose a fella could run it without the insulation, but how's come he'd wanna? :confused:

Made in China, insulation is extra. ;)
