They are building thirty seven Mc mansions in the field behind our house, during excavation they unearthed a three ton boulder that I just had to have so I offered the heavy equipment operator two hundred bucks to plop it in our front yard and he bit! annd to top it off he did not want to take the money! It was every thing I could do to get him to take sixty bucks.

I think it's great. We have no stone in Houston. It's all hauled in from about a hundred miles away and beyond. Do you know how many people around here would kill for a big rock? :D

Did he set it level an plumb???? My wife would be out there with a level and make him fix it. What would be cool is make a mailbox out of it. Lets see that kid hit it with a baseball bat.

3 tons,hmmmm yep that woulda been a 6-800.00 rock minimum up here from the landscape guys.They look great if you can keep the kids from doing chalk drawings :D
