Is it ok to put any type of polyurethane on a cermaic tiled floor? Advantages & disadvantages. Thanks

I guess the first question is why are you considering doing it? There are a number of products that will probably accomplish whatever you are trying to do that are designed for tile and stone. What kind of tile is it? Unglazed? Saltillio? Mosaics? Are you looking for gloss or shine? Stain resistance?

I agree with Chris. Polyurethane on ceramic tile, would be defeating the purpose of using ceramic tile. :bang:

No, don't use polyurethane.
