Stripping Saltillo ?

We had Saltillo installed and it is sealed with a water based sealer. There are some worn spots and dirty spots. I need to strip it and re-seal it. Non of the strippers I have found at retail stores are doing the job. Any suggestions ?

What sealer was used originally?

What products have you tried?

You may need a high alkaline product, to break it down. Most impregnating sealers don't leave anything on the surface (thus the term impregnating). It's possible you had a top finish applied, that wearing in the traffic patterns.
