View Full Version : Good Gypcrete patch needed

I needed to chisel out some of the gypcrete that was poured in out master bath underneath the tub to adjust some of the radiant heat tubes that will be used to heat the tub deck. I need to refill the area, but with what? The area is about 4 wide by 12 long and 1 1/2 deep.

I'd call the local applicator and ask them about a patch. Otherwise, a quality cement based patch compound would probably do the trick. You probably won't be able to do it in one application, as most patch materials work best at 1/2" per application. Read the bag to be sure

Por rock Peter . 5 gallon buckets of powder(it may come smaller,not sure.Ive used it on a couple commercial jobs where lots was needed.Make sure the area is clean and dry.Mix it pour it and forget it :)
