In process of restoring an art gallery floor to the original concrete with brick border underneath...Now has a layer of vinyl tile, a layer of thin plaster to even out missing tiles and brick area and then a layer of glue and commercial carpet. Removed carpet now a multi layered mess of tile, glue and plaster stuff. Seems that since tile is bottom layer I should be able scrape most of it off , hope the plastery stuff will mostly scrape off the brick. Do you think some kind of floor scraper will get most of it up? Should I wet it?

don't breath the chemical stripper, it's making your question appear to me unclear :twitch:
are you looking to remove glue from the surface of an old tile or brick floor?

ps :laugh2: what kind of gallery is this?

Welcome DGM, Please give us a first name. :)

I wouldn't wet it. I would scrape it with a long handle scraper.
