We have a shower we build last winter, you can see info about it here: http://johnbridge.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=9103&highlight=progress+report

The shower is glass block and tumbled marble. We have two problems I would like to ask about.

First a note we squeegy the shower after every use and that has helped a lot, the marble mostly looks great.

But the glass block has got hard water deposits already. (This is limestone country the water is very hard.)

So the first question is what is a good cleaner for the glass block that will not affect the grout between the blocks.

I sometimes use a tar based shampoo, I think it has stained some of the floor tile. I just don't use it in this shower anymore, but does anyone know how to clean the stain off of the marble tiles.

The marble is sealed with "Stone Beauty" from the old TYW store. (I am hording my last can.)

Thanks for any help.

Dear Genel:
There are a few (literally! And far between, too!) specialty cleaners for stone of the chelate type and on the alkaline side that will clean your glass without damagind the marble. As my usual, I will not name any specific product.
As for the removal of the stains, you're gonna have to try pouticing them out with 30/40 volume Hydrogen Peroxide. :)
Ciao and good luck,

mbstone has a marvelous natural stone shower cleaner. We use it all the time. Use a white scrub pad with it for agitation.
