Pencil marks on porcelain tile

This seems crazy but I have a bunch of pencil marks on my off-white porcelain tile that don't want to come off. The tile was installed a few weeks ago and I moved onto other projects and now I'm finally getting ready to grout and tried cleaning off the marks without much success. Any suggestions?

Jeff - See my reply to the sealing tile before grouting question. I was able to remove red permanent marker from my unglazed porcelain tile using a "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser."

Hi Jeff:

Try an art-gum eraser. Eharhard Faber makes one labeled Magic Rub widely available wherever office/school supplies are sold. Wurks for me. :nod:
