I am looking for training tools to train employees in the skills needed for commercial kitchen re-grout and tile setting work. Can any of you recommend some video resources or anything more interactive than books. I thought about taking my lead guy to Coverings but that is a little outside the budget. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, James

James,

Just about all of us (probably all of us) have been trained on the job. Grouting is one of those things you do and get the feel of. I don't know of anything that would be of use.

If you are not using them now, you should look into grouting systems like the Barwalt. Don't have the link, but it's Barwalt Tool Co.

Hi James,

Is this relating to the thread you started in the "Pro Hangout"?

Carefully go back to that thread, and read all the replies. There was a recent post about someone in the midst of a current regrout/repair.

I suggest you send them a PM, and see if they can help. It's hard to train a standard job, let alone the commercial kitchen redo. Most pro's can't even handle them! ;)
