Greetings, I recently had a grade five cermaic tile installed (Formica). the grout is light gray (almost silver). I am not happy with the color. I wish for more of a Charcol color (the tiles have a terra cotta colorization). What is the deal with grout dye? Also the job (400sq on a slab) was just completed when should I seal? or should I seal? Thanks

Hi Cop, Welcome aboard. Please give up a first name. :)
Our grout stain is also one of the best sealers on the market, so don't seal. I'd like to know what type of tile you have. The concern is its porosity. Is it porcelain, hard clay with glaze, unglazed terracotta -- what?
Also, I'll move us to where our stain experts hang out. :)

Hi Cop :)
Aqua Mix Grout Colorant is what you’re looking for. That’s too much of a color swing for a grout stain. Good stuff, and a great sealer as well. It just takes much longer to apply, and does not have as natural look, as a stain. It will change your color, though. ;)
