I just finished picking up 180 sq ft of tile that is made by Ceramica Magica call Kuppam Green 12x12 MC-GK312.
I was wondering if any of the pros know of a good place to try to find some sort of matching threshold piece? I spoke with the sales person where I bought the tile but said they are unable to get it. It kind of a small shop so I figure one of the bigger players might be able to get something. Problem is how do I find tile shops that have access to Ceramica Magica tile catalog and are willing to sell it to me?

I was at Ceramicas web site in Italy. Didn't find what I was looking for. It also does tell be whom I might contact in these United States. I checked and rechecked and really didn't find anything.

Well if it doesn't have to match the color perfectly there are a lot of choices.

I'm unfamiliar with the color you've chosen, but one solution might be to have a threshold manufactured (any local slab company should be able to make you one) out of a granite or marble which compliments it. Green marble would be a bad choice for a bathroom though. I understand that the mineral content of green marble is "hydroreactive" and does not stand up to getting wet. Green granite is great though!

I will post a picture of it later this morning. The tile is for outr sunroom so green granite would also work. The tile I beleive is mimicing slate. The main color is green with hint of copper or gray.
Since the floor meets the L/360 for tile but maybe not the L/720 for stone how can I place a piece of green granite down? I am using Ditra on the floor.

The threshold piece that I am suggesting is a flat bar, about two inches wide and about 1 1/2" tall. The hieght is then tooled down, usually with beveled corners. I've tried to find an image on-line to include but have failed. I see them all the time in public and commercial bathrooms though. NExt time you are in a high-end hotel, try to remember to use their "lobby loo". If my guess is correct, you'll find what I'm talking about there in the doorway.

When I was working on the east coast about 5 years ago Home Depot had a selection of marble thresholds. I haven't seen them stocked here in the midwest, though.

they had them here on the West coast also, but they've since discontinued them. Probably got a couple dozen containers full of cheap marble thresholds from India or China. But then all the workers starved so they're just waiting for the next batch to grow old enough to be slipped back into the mines. Ahhhh, the global economy!:bang:
